o	Some have no conventional beginning or ending (what is conventional?)

o	Ideas developed since childhood from stories we have heard.

•	Vast majority of stories have some form of opening section; a middle, where characters, situations, and ideas are developed; and an ending which brings the story to a conclusion.

			<description>OK, I haven't started working on this yet, but seeing at it might take each of us hours on our own, I figured that making a topic would be a wise decision.  Thibault said that he's got the first 60 pages covered and Iain has quite a bit of his work done too.  George says he'll do a good bit at the end and I figure that the rest of us can divide the remaining pages which really shouldn't be too hard.</description>
